Why not an ordinary online converter?
Most online converters work by uploading your file to a server, doing the work there, and sending the result back. That is fine for a meme. It is a poor idea for a passport scan, a contract, a payslip, or a photo taken at home, which carries the position of your home inside it.
Here there is no server to upload to. Each tool is a small program that your browser downloads once and runs on your device, inside a frame that the browser itself stops from contacting the internet. The pages around the tools show ordinary adverts, which is how the site is paid for; the frame holding your file shows none and cannot see them.
