Why this exists

Most online converters work the same way: you send them a file, a server does the work, and you download the result. That is fine for a meme. It is not fine for a passport scan, a contract, a payslip or a photo taken at home.

Every tool here runs in your browser instead. The file is opened on your device, changed on your device and saved on your device. There is no upload step because there is no server to upload to: this site is a set of static pages.

Who runs it

Reshape File is built and run by Yasser.

How it works

Each tool sits in a sealed frame on a separate domain. That frame is allowed to load its own code and nothing else, and your browser enforces the rule, not us. The page around it, where the text and adverts are, cannot see into the frame.

You do not have to take that on trust. The check page shows the exact policy and a test you can run yourself with airplane mode.

How it pays for itself

Adverts appear on the pages around the tools, never inside a tool, and never between you and your download. If you block adverts, the site works exactly the same; there is no wall.

Nothing is sold to anyone, and there are no accounts.

What it will not do

• Anything that needs your file on a server, such as heavy video conversion or turning Word documents into PDFs.
• Remove a PDF password you do not know.
• Claim that a file is clean when something identifying is still in it. If a tool cannot remove something, it says so.
