JPG to PDF

Turn one or more JPG photos into a single PDF.

What this does

Places each JPG on its own page and writes one PDF. The location, camera and date stored in each photo are removed before it goes in, so a PDF of receipts does not say where each one was photographed.

What it can’t do

Make the text in a photo searchable. That needs text recognition, which this site does not do. It also cannot shrink the photos: for a smaller PDF, compress the images first.

A worked example

A visa application wants the passport, a bank statement and two photographs as one PDF. Four JPGs from a phone become a four-page A4 PDF, in the right order, without the GPS position of the kitchen table they were photographed on.

Questions

Can I put several JPGs in one PDF?
Yes. Add them all and each becomes a page, in the order of the list. Drag to reorder before you make the PDF.
Is the photo compressed again?
No. A JPG is placed in the PDF exactly as it is, so the pages look the same as the originals and the PDF is about the size of the photos together.
Which page size should I choose?
A4 or US Letter for anything that will be printed or filed with a form. "Same as each picture" for screenshots or when the exact pixels matter.

Your file stays on this device

The tool above runs in a sealed frame that cannot send your file anywhere. It works with airplane mode on, and the counter above it stays at 0. Here is how you can check that yourself.
