What this does
Converts as you type, and lets you copy the HTML or download it as a file.
What it can’t do
Clean up HTML that is written inside the Markdown: it is passed through as it is.
A worked example
Release notes written in Markdown need to go into a content system that only takes HTML. Paste, copy, done.
Questions
- Which Markdown is supported?
- The common form, including tables, task lists, strikethrough and fenced code blocks.
- Do I get a full web page?
- If you switch that on. Otherwise you get just the content, ready to paste into an existing page or an email editor.
- Is the HTML styled?
- No. It is plain, valid HTML without styles, so it takes on the look of wherever you put it.
Your file stays on this device
The tool above runs in a sealed frame that cannot send your file anywhere. It works with airplane mode on, and the counter above it stays at 0. Here is how you can check that yourself.
